How to make an experience relevant? Designing interactions across spaces, technologies and users is often about finding the right balance between usability and surprise, with the ultimate goal of forging unforgettable experiences.
Alice Mela
Alice Mela, creative director at TODO, designs interactive experiences for products, museums, exhibitions, spaces, and events, with a focus on User-Centered Design aspects and User Experience. With an educational background between Product and Interaction design and almost 10 years of experience in the field, she leads large-scale projects from concept to realization.
Since 2011 she has been an active member of the makers and Fablabs community, with collaborations with Fablab Amsterdam, Fablab Dahahran, and Fablab Torino. Since 2020 she is Vice President of Fablab Torino. Since 2012 she has been teaching classes and workshops on diverse topics, from User Experience to interactive prototyping, and for different educational institutions, such as Willem De Kooning Academy, IED, NABA, Domus Academy, SUPSI, and more.
