The Metaverse, the 3D version of the internet, is growing faster than we can imagine, and companies are working 24*7 to build fantasy imagination into reality.  Even Sophia, the world’s famous humanoid robot takes a trip into the Metaverse with her own virtual world in an intelligent anime version as 100 intelligent non-fungible tokens (iNFTs).

Nicoletta Iacobacci

Nicoletta Iacobacci (Ph.D.) is a professor at Webster University in Geneva, at Jinan University in Guangzhou (China.) Her studies focus on ethics, emerging technologies, and the positive and negative effects of technological progress. She has been a producer/ reporter for RAI (the Italian national TV system) news channel from the USA and managed the digital laboratory of RAI Corporation, realizing in 1994 the RAI's first official website. Back in Europe, always for RAI, she managed the interactive TV laboratory. In 2006 she moved to Switzerland to work for the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the world organization of public service broadcasting (PSM) with 115 members in 56 countries and nearly 2,000 channels including TV, radio, and online services, as Head of Strategy and Media of the Future. In 2014, she left EBU to finish a doctorate in philosophy and communication and is now intensely interested in a new educational method, adaptive learning, which uses computer algorithms to orchestrate student interaction and customize the educational experience to the individual. She has been curator of 6 TEDx events, ambassador of Singularity University in Switzerland, and promoter of the Hyperloop Transportation Technology's ethical guidelines. Her first book, Exponential Ethics, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, was published in 2018 in English and Chinese. Her second, in Italian, L'Etica è Donna, has been just released.
