Workshop on integrating Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Visualisation in the Design Curricula

"Designing With: Integrating Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Visualization in Design Curricula" is a workshop focused on exploration, innovation, and experimental creativity. It introduces students to the development of collaborative design practices using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization tools.

The workshop will bring together a multidisciplinary team of lecturers, PhD students, and students from various master's programs, including SUPSI's Master of Arts in Interaction Design, EPFL's Master of Architecture, NOVA's Master of Science in New Media and Web Practice, Master of Science in Transition, Innovation, and Sustainability Environments, and HEAD's Master of Science in Space and Communication.

This workshop is part of the research project 'Designing With. A New Educational Module to Integrate ML, AI, and DV in Design Curricula', which is funded by Movetia's International Programme and is a collaboration between SUPSI's Design Institute, EPFL, and Universidade NOVA de Lisbon.

The project aims to provide methodological tools and didactic guidelines to the design community, suitable for application in multidisciplinary environments, with a focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Visualization (DV) practices and tools in Design curricula.
