Monica Mendini, Lecturer-Researcher in Marketing, will introduce MAInD students to the most common qualitative and quantitative techniques for conducting market research. Students will have the chance to practice on real-life projects, setting up research plans and collecting and analyzing data.
Monica Mendini
Monica Mendini is Lecturer-researcher in Marketing at the Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, SUPSI, where she is also co-responsible for the organization of the Brown Bag research seminars. Since 2019, she has taught a variety of courses at SUPSI, such as Marketing and communication, Branding and Market research among others.
Before joining SUPSI, she obtained her Ph.D. in Marketing (sponsored by the Swiss National Science Foundation) at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, where she still teaches in graduate programs. Her research focuses mainly on consumer behavior, with particular reference to cause-marketing, consumer-brand relationships and consumer well-being.
Monica published various scientific articles in prestigious international journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Qualitative Market Research and Marketing Education Review. Besides academia, she also gained experience in the marketing and communication departments of prestigious companies (Miele, CNH Industrial, SRI Management Consulting).
