Sabine Junginger
Prof. Sabine Junginger (PhD) heads the Competence Center for Design & Management at HSLU and leads the Major Service Design in the MA Design program. She is internationally recognised for her work on principles, methods and processes of human-centered design in the context of organizational change, policy-making and public sector innovation.
She is author of the book Transforming Public Services by Design – Reorienting Policies, Organizations and Services around People and the primary investigator for the four-year interdisciplinary SNF funded VA PEPR project, which looks into how people experience voice assistants in everyday life and develop new practices and routines around their use.
Her work seeks to understand the role of design in strengthening institutions that produce and guard public values for the common good, especially in the context of the digital transformation and AI.
