TP Matrix is an interactive installation that visualizes a topographic mountain map using colored light and glass sticks. Users build their own “glass mountain” by placing sticks of varying heights over a 32×32 LED matrix displaying randomly generated shapes. Inspired by experiments with LED diffusion on matte and transparent Plexiglass, the project explores how light and height can represent terrain. Beyond its artistic form, TP Matrix suggests future potential for dynamic, tactile geographic or geological displays.
