Tangible Algorithms is a physical representation of an image classification algorithm, translating its hidden digital processes into a visible, interactive form. While its inner workings remain opaque to the human eye, its effects—like metadata generation and content categorization—become tangible. Trained through machine learning, the system identifies and classifies images, with one output being the censorship of sensitive content. The installation invites reflection on how unseen algorithms shape our digital experiences and influence what we can or cannot see.
