Remnants of Absence is a wearable sensing system that investigates how presence is perceived through environmental change rather than direct visibility. Abandoned sites carry residual traces, variations in temperature, humidity, particulate matter, and physiological data, that persist after human occupation. Threshold-based sensing registers deviations from an environmental baseline, translating them into spatial disturbances within a photogrammetric reconstruction. The result is a dynamic visualization shaped by movement and interpretation, framing absence as a condition perceived through change.
