In the maps we navigate daily, digital errors persist: duplicated limbs, warped bodies, architectural tears. These glitches in Google Street View expose the limits of algorithmic vision. PROVID 3000 treats them as contemporary ghosts, inviting users from screen to street and turning digital anomaly into physical search. Revisiting the exact locations shifts attention from representation to environment. A hybrid device combining smartphone sensors and Arduino modules detects on-site variations, translating them into light, vibration, and sound. It bridges computational vision and embodied perception, expanding how we experience mapped space.
