This project reinterprets the Philips D6620 cassette recorder, a portable device for playing audio on magnetic tape. Interaction is reduced to five buttons: eject, play/stop, next, back, and rewind. An on/off switch and a volume wheel provide direct, manual control. The work reflects on tangible interaction and analog listening. The cassette recorder serves as a metaphor for slower, more deliberate engagement with sound. Rather than introducing new technology, it revisits an existing object to question contemporary habits of digital consumption.
