Echoes of Exclusion is an interactive installation that sheds light on the biases and discrimination embedded in AI-generated imagery. Users select a photo from a curated set of 50 images, prompting the system to generate a new AI-based visual interpretation along with a synthesized voice description. The experience reveals how AI systems can reflect and amplify societal biases around identity, race, and gender. By confronting these distortions, the installation becomes a space for critical reflection and discussion on the ethical implications of machine learning in visual culture.
