Beosound Explore

This project explored the design and digital fabrication of a high-fidelity MP3 player, drawing inspiration from the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore. Through 3D printing and laser cutting, a fully realized prototype was developed in which concept, construction, interaction, and documentation form a coherent whole. The Beosound Explore, a rugged portable speaker built for outdoor use, informed a focus on robustness, usability, and material honesty. Its premium sound quality, durable construction, and waterproof form guided every decision toward a refined, purposeful object.
