The two artistic works 'Throwback Environment' and 'Fomes Fomentarius Digitalis' use the 'perception' of machine vision in different ways.
In this talk, we will immerse ourselves into these two works and see what they can tell us about how algorithms work.
Thomas Knüsel
Thomas Knüsel (*1984) is a media artist and creative technologist who holds a BA from HSLU DFK and an MA from ZHdK.
His artistic practice explores the intersection of technology, materiality, perception, science and art, using various media to create works that oscillate often between art and technology.
