Who can apply?

Diverse Design Backgrounds
Students with a background in graphic and visual design, industrial design, interior architecture, architecture and engineering, and computer science, but we are also interested in profiles that are highly multidisciplinary, versatile, very motivated.

Creative Technologists
Students with a creative talent combined with a strong interest in design and technology.

Makers & Innovators
Makers and innovators with a background in communication sciences and business are also welcome to apply.
Requirements
The requirements for the acceptance to the Master of Arts in Interaction Design are:
- A bachelor degree in Design (graphic design, industrial design, interior design, media design, web design, etc.) or an equivalent diploma;
- Students with a bachelor degree in fields such as architecture, engineering, humanities, fine arts and business management are entitled to apply. Their applications are subjected to the approval of the Board of the Master and they might require some extra ECTS credits, which can be obtained before or during the program.
Procedure
Application
Candidates must complete the application form and submit all required documentation:
- Portfolio
- CV / Resume
- Motivation letter
- Transcript of records / copy of diploma / certificate of attendance
- Copy of identity documents
- Residence permit (if in Switzerland)
Evaluation
We will provide you with a response about the application and you will be asked to confirm your participation to the master. If required, we will be glad to set up an online meeting for answering your questions and get to know each other.
Enrolment
We stress the importance of finalising enrolment by the deadlines, which will be communicated both through the Student Portal and by e-mail with the confirmation of admission.
Deadlines
Deadline for Swiss residents (Swiss nationality and Permit C) and international students (EU and Extra EU) - You can send the application at any time during the application period. Due to the limited number of places (max. 30 students), we invite you to submit the application far in advance before the final deadline.
*SUPSI may close applications once the maximum number of scheduled places available has been reached.
*For applications sent after April 30, the registration fee is CHF 300.- (required for the enrolment procedure).
