Please mind that this procedure is applied to the on-campus program, which is going to take place at the SUPSI campus in Mendrisio, Switzerland.

Who can apply?

The Master of Arts in Interaction Design is addressed to students with a creative talent combined with a strong interest in design and technology. We are looking for students with a background in graphic and visual design, industrial design, interior architecture, architecture and engineering, and computer science, but we are also interested in profiles that are highly multidisciplinary, versatile, very motivated. Makers and innovators with a background in communication sciences and business are also welcome to apply.


The requirements for the acceptance to the Master of Arts in Interaction Design are:

  1. A bachelor degree in Design (graphic design, industrial design, interior design, media design, web design, etc.) or an equivalent diploma;

  2. Students with a bachelor degree in fields such as architecture, engineering, humanities, fine arts and business management are entitled to apply. Their applications are subjected to the approval of the Board of the Master and they might require some extra ECTS credits, which can be obtained before or during the program.



Candidates must fill in the application form and submit the required documentation duly completed.


We will provide you with a response about the application and you will be asked to confirm your participation to the master. If required, we will be glad to set up an online meeting for answering your questions and get to know each other. In the meantime we warmly invite you to read our FAQ.

You can send the application at any time during the application periods. Due to the limited number of places (max. 30 students), we invite you to submit the application far in advance before the final deadline.
